ABOUT US
Who we are

Texas Mended Wings Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to serving women and children experiencing hardships resulting from abusive, emotional, financial, and other life-changing circumstances.
We believe healing involves the whole person — spiritually, emotionally, physically, and practically. Our ministry creates opportunities for individuals to receive encouragement, education, resources, spiritual guidance, and connections to professional and community services.

Our mission
To restore hope, promote healing, and empower women, children, and families through faith-based support, education, practical resources, wellness initiatives, and community outreach.

Our vision
To see women restored, families strengthened, children supported, and communities transformed as individuals discover their God-given worth, purpose, and ability to build healthy and productive lives.
Our story
Texas Mended Wings Ministries was born from a simple but powerful belief: broken does not mean finished.
Â
Life has a way of leaving wounds that others cannot always see. Abuse, trauma, disappointment, grief, rejection, financial hardship, broken relationships, and unexpected life changes can leave a woman feeling as though the wings that once carried her have been damaged beyond repair.
Â
But God can mend what life has broken.
Â
This ministry was created to be a place where women and families can come as they are — without judgment, without shame, and without having to pretend that everything is okay.
Â
We believe healing is a journey. Sometimes it begins with prayer. Sometimes with counseling. Sometimes with having a safe place to talk, receiving practical assistance, learning how to care for yourself again, or simply having someone remind you that your story is not over.
Â
We have watched women lay down burdens they had carried for years. We have witnessed lives surrendered and rededicated to God. And during our 2026 Women's Inner Healing Retreat, thirteen women entered the waters of baptism, publicly declaring that something new had begun.
Â
We are here for the woman who has forgotten her worth. For the mother trying to rebuild. For the woman carrying pain silently. For the family searching for resources. And for every woman standing at the edge of a new beginning, wondering whether she will ever have the strength to fly again.
Â
Our answer is this: "your wings may have been wounded, but they can be mended..."
